Women/trans clinic policies

Most of the women/trans clinic’s programs and services can still be done by appointment. Please call the clinic during the open clinic hours to set up an appointment. However, you do not need an appointment for any of the following:

  • STI drop-in on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. – until full,
STI drop-in on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 p.m. – until full.
You can be tested or treated for STIs at this time.
You cannot have an HIV test at this time without an appointment.
  • The emergency contraceptive pill (ECP) or “morning-after pill” is available anytime the women’s clinic is open. You do not need to call first to make an appointment, but we prefer it when you do.

Frequently asked questions

Please have a look at our frequently asked questions (FAQ) page and other pages on the clinic’s site before you call us—your question might already be answered.

Not all services are available on a drop-in basis. For some things you must make an appointment first. Our programs and services page has the details.

E-mail

We do not book appointments or send out test results by e-mail. And, because of spam, we can’t respond to your questions by e-mail. The best way to get your questions answered is to speak directly to a counsellor at 416 · 922 · 0566.

Please do not send questions or comments about the clinic to our web support volunteer—he looks after the website only, and is not involved in the day-to-day running of the clinic. Please call the clinic instead at 416 · 922 · 0566.
