Clinician for Men’s Clinic

Hassle Free Clinic is seeking a foreign-trained physician to join our team as a clinician. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience in HIV/STI testing and treatment. We are a busy and progressive sexual health clinic located in downtown Toronto serving a diverse population. A large number of our clients are gay men.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, including history taking, venipuncture, anoscopy, wart treatments and injections.
• Provide STI/HIV counselling and education.
• Perform administrative and general duties in the operation of the clinic.

Qualifications:

• Foreign-trained physician.
• Background or experience in STI’s and HIV (preferred).
• Strong written/oral communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational, team-work and counselling skills.
• Non-judgemental, pro-choice and queer/sex-positive attitude.

We need physicians!

Part-time positions available in a busy urban clinic specializing in men’s sexual health testing, diagnosis and treatment. Day, evening and weekend clinics available.

We are a well established, community based organization with a diverse client base from across southern Ontario. A large proportion of our patients are gay men.

Working in a multi-disciplinary team with RNs, clinicians and counsellors, your primary function would be to provide comprehensive testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections. Training and shadowing opportunities are available with experienced doctors if required.

Familiarity with HIV testing and counselling is an asset.
